    Secret Codes:

    Create a secret code for your club like 1=a, 2=b, 3=c, etc.

    9---12/9/11/5---3/8/15/3/15/12/1/20/5 = I LIKE CHOCOLATE

    A secret code will help you to write messages when you are away from the club that no one else will be able to read.

    You might even want to use a symbol for each club member's name instead of having to write the whole name out (eg. A sun = Kasandra).


    cd craft idea
    Yoyo Craft:

  • 2 old cds
  • a flat button
  • good glue (needs to bond plastic)
  • string
  • stickers
  • permanent markers
  • anything that sticks to a chrome surface

    Glue a flat button between two cds (shiny side facing out). Add string and then decorate the cds with stickers, permanent marker, and anything else that sticks to that chrome-like surface.

    Test the glue on one yoyo. Glue gun glue stick works on some of the cds, crazy glue works on others (there's probably other good glues to try also). You'll need an adult's help with the glue.

    This craft is creative and a lot of fun.




    • Fashion Game:

    NEWSPAPER FASHION SHOW - Divide into teams and give each team some newspaper, tape, and scissors to create an outfit to model. Have each team create an outfit with these supplies and give them 5 minutes to dress someone on the team in the item. Have them come up with a name for the outfit and write runway dialogue to suit it. Then have a fashion show.
