The things that happen when you work too late...

Dear Dr Ken

My absolute best wishes for you on your birthday. I started this thinking - "how long ago was it?"

Well, when I looked back at the first email (an innocent request for a little FileMaker work), I noticed that it was 7 years ago.

Actually, I realised it wasn't just 7 years ago... check the date!

It was exactly 7 years ago - AND ON YOUR BIRTHDAY!!! (Okay, so I guess no-one would be overly surprised by that.)

Anyway Ken - I hope that your personal journey brings you the happiness and satisfaction you bring to the many people you touch through the work you do and the relationships you develop.

You work like no other I know AND you think like no other I know. (Thank goodness for that!)

If there's such a thing as karma, then I'd suggest the universe will be keeping an eye out for you for many a day to come!

Now... after all that sop, I couldn't let your reputation escape untarnished.

I apologise, but I had one foot well outside the universe when I decided to attach the photo... my personal disclaimer - it was late, we were tired, anything seemed funny at the time... and well, I have always tried to figure out how you kept your finger on the pulse...
